Our addition... in a Stevens 3XXX Beaver, originally purchased at Lahr Clothing of Cozad, Nebraska.
Grandpa-style oatmeal, topped with just a little vanilla Ice Cream... VERY well received!

Well... Saturday started even better than normal.

The mailman was kind enough to deliver to me my first Knapp-Felt... a derby. Looks to be just about mint.
My excitement knows no bounds. I've said it before, and I will say it again: I'm such a ****.

A very happy and hatted Saturday to all!

A pristine C&K is something to get excited about... great addition to your growing collection!

Gentlemen, you flatter me, but thanks anyway. I passed your comments on to my personal shirt maker, she just covers her face with embarrassment. What she like? Yesterday's straw brought out the sunshine, so, pushing my luck, I wore it again today. And the sun shone. A cold, winter sun, but a panama worn in the sunshine, just lifts the spirits, besides that hat is just so versatile. Yesterday it went well with a green and grey outfit, today it sets off the black & white art deco shirt just as good, even though it was rather chilly.

Took the hat off for the coal work, set it here, took pic and then washed up before I touched it again. I've done it so many times I'm pretty neat about it.

The RM Williams arrived last week. I re-blocked and re-flanged. It has all the Akubra Heritage grade Campdraft trimmings and proportions. It's essentially the same hat. The mid-brown is really a deep chocolate brown. The second pic is the most accurate color representation.
