This is a Royal Stetson I got off EBay and just arrived today. Every Stetson I own is big on me. This sez 7 but fits like a 7 1/8. Oh yeah, $16 plus $10 for shipping. Did I win or what??? Open crown so how should I shape this one? Advise, Over.

Sun is out and the breeze is calm. Wearing this windy-day project Panama that I found (in much rougher shape) at a thrift store weekend before last. Finished it the day before yesterday, but wind prevented it's debut. Not sure what the color is exactly, but copper comes to mind. Or perhaps something in the Umber family.
Something a little different from the usual.

Late last week temps here in Whittier (California) were in the upper-80s (°F), but yesterday they topped out in the low-60s (°F), a "slight chance" of rain turned into thunderstorms and a couple of 30-minute downpours, and someone posted photos on Farcebook of snow in their neighborhood! That's the first time it's snowed here since 1949!
