I was thinking the same thing -- just needs a little more hollywood on that brim and it would be a good lookalike.

Dang man -- that's awesome. Did you have to refi your house to afford the bid? Hah -- these things go for an arm and a leg on the bay.

It was a bit pricey but cheaper than a new Stetsonian

I'd like to take the time and thank everyone who wished my Mom a speedy recovery and offered up their thoughts and prayers for her. She should be released from the hospital sometime today to go to a rehab facility to get her up and walking again. With her scrappy attitude and sense of humor she should do very well. Thanks again everyone.

Wearing my 4X Stetson conversion this cool Thursday a.m. The hat was originally given to me by fellow Lounger, Anthony.
I wanted to come up with something resembling Alan Ladd's China hat.

  19. Good to hear Terry. Wish her well for me too.

Diggin' the conversion. I may need to talk to you about doing something similar with a 4X Stetson western that my wife has had since the '70s. The sweat has fallen apart, the ribbon is long gone and the brim has a small tear at the edge.

Good afternoon. Grocery store and a grilled lunch in a VS Wanderer (inspired) silver belly fedora.

Continuing the hat theme, I am off for the gym in a VS Stratoliner (inspired) sage fedora.
