Even just a couple of hours in a felt is worth it Michael. Love the rake on this OR.
I don't think it took a couple of hours. Turned muggy quickly so I changed into lighter clothes and a cocoanut straw hat.

But even that only held through my outing for the day, now I'm hatless, in shorts and sitting in front of the AC.

The 1942 Rosebowl hat made an appearance on campus this morning. I presented on OSU history at our Library In Service Day. This is my first custorm from Mike Miller at NW Hats.

Great looking hat Red. Hope the presentation went well.

Thanks,

ok, forgive me, it's a rare day I post two hats, but I had five arrive this morning on the slow boat from @Daniele Tanto in Italy. The fifth was a surprise present from Daniele, to keep my Irish head warm in winter, it was spitting rain so i swapped the tesi out for his kind gift earlier, a warm, thick heather felted golden brown Barbisio, the pictures aren't going to portray how warm a gold colour this has. Barbisio, 2" brim, pics will show the rest. I also promised @FedOregon I'd post another. (-: *snip* B^4Bob
Wonderful hat Karl! Personally, I think it suits you even more with the brim up--a great, more casual look.

with the shape of this hat, i noticed it looked cool enough too, some hats do unless i wear the hat on the back of my head, then i just look like the idiot that I fear I am rather than the cool fecker I'm channeling to be. (-:
