    Thanks Michael!
The finish is pretty awesome. Wonderfully soft and luxurious. I believe its a couple decades past when the use of mercury was abandoned for carroting the fur.

Indeed it is Jack. Super color.

Right back at now that you are home. Love the Safari and pins.

Pecan is such a great color. This VS is beautiful.

You should sell tickets to view your hat collection. It would be a mecca! Outstanding Imperial.
Another great looking hat, you have been busy.

    Great one Bob!

Beautiful finish and a super interesting crease Bowen. Yes, I think this one and the Angora should be friends, you can send her here. I'll breed them and give you the pick of the litter!

Beautiful! Love that crease and liner.

Yummy Whippet Greg. I assume it is 1950s?

Turn of the century...1899 to 1905? I didn't know the OR was that old. It is a museum piece! ;):D

    Thanks.

Yeah. When the end result turns out this nice, it's hard to think of its cinversion as being some sort of demented creation of a "Frankenhat".

    Thanks Bill.

@bond did it. I recall him telling me that when he stumbled upon it as a homburg, the brim binding was wrecked. The crease is pretty much exactly what he put in it. I think that it's just so great, that I don't really mess with it.

Imperial indeed. Mode Edge + Vita-Felt is like vintage hat Shangri-La. Just extraordinarily wonderful....

I can't wait to see the forthcoming brown one.

    Gawd I love them Vita-Felts...

That is a beautiful looking hat.

Always a treat to see that monster homburg at home on your head, Mike.

    Man, Justin...
    Another extraordinary hat.
I love seeing it in the snow.

  18. Thanks Mike ... it just sounds cooler than saying it's from 2002. BTW -- you were rockin' that Mallory brown 'burg this morning. What did the Church Ladies think?

Haven't we seen a video of this guy making a full on hat while you wait (or in a couple of hours)? I have a friend at church that had one made. OK quality, a little stiff.

It was a big hit, as usual. I try to wear something showy for them on Sunday mornings. There are three ladies, all in their 80s who appreciate a nice hat.
