Love that silvermist with the wide gray ribbon EricA wore a VS silvermist hued felt this morning for a dog walk. This hat took inspiration from the Stetson Westin. It was a 40's Whippet with a different edge treatment.

This "The Tiger Special" from Keith Brothers with it's big messy almost-back bow is about 100 years old. Maybe a few more, maybe short a couple, but still my oldest hat.

Yes, I thought they were a bit proud of themselves. But if you can find one pre-owned at a reasonable price the felt and workmanship are really nice. At least they are on mine and it's a 10X, not one of the really pricey ones.

This Royal De Luxe Stetson is a recent lucky find. It possesses a really unusual color somewhere in between brown and gray. It varies in hue depending on lighting conditions and viewing perspective.

Matt, Thanks! Yes very black and this was something JHS was known for. I took a look at the Hare hairs with a video microscope and dye really penetrated every hair.
