J. Hückel´s Söhne "Superior" probably late 1930s. Most likely designed not to wear with side dents so a Stiffer Soft Felt with very dense felt.

Good morning!

Afternoon! Awesome ensemble!

Yesterday was our first 70'F day since Fall 2017. The ice has retreated to the middle of the lake. An un-lined Cordova Cap was perfect for the weather.

This mornings cool temps found me in a vtg. Stetson DeLuxe Stratoliner.

Eric, you are the king of multi-hat days. Today was stellar!

Bowen, simply sweet!

I never used to pay for basic automotive services. This 2001 has 218,020 miles on it and this is the first oil change I've not performed on it myself. Officially old curmudgeon.... Stratton waits with me in the lounge. Ariat square toe boots.

I have a suspicion about Justin. He found a cellar where the aliens visiting Area 51 left all the hats taken off the heads of humans they collected and took back to their home planet. Only reasonable explanation for him to find so many nice early 20th century hats.

Shhhhhhhhh, don't let my secret out!!

J. Hückel´s Söhne "Superior" probably late 1930s.

Tale of two homburgs. Wearing black hats at the theater (it is a stage ninja thing), giving that part of the collection a workout. Two 'burgs from the British Isles, yesterday a Battersby from the early 1950s, and tonight my Scottish R. W. Forsythe Ltd. from Edinburgh. Interesting comparison in lines. Both are very light with felt that is not as stiff on the brims compared to many Homburgs. First, the Battersby:

I’m a hat newbie and love browsing everyone’s daily wear! I’m drawn to the brim of they homburg! Is it common to wear it with side dents? You certainly make it work!

Today it’s Straw.
From humble beginnings a Stetson Premier Panama, bent but not broken, 3” brim, kinda old. Still wonky but that’s ok, not going to any peacock parades today.
Thanks for recent kudos.
Be well. Bowen

Sweet lid.

Have fun at the peacock thing-a-ma-jig. Next year, I'll have to send Peawolf to go with you.

Yesterday in the cold rain: borsalino Averla.

Two hat day today. First: Dobbs made under license.

Beautiful hats.

Thanks for the kind words about my recent hats, Stefan.

A modern Gannon (silverbelly with charcoal ribbon) went out to lunch with me.

Best, Eric -

Glowing lid.

That is one heck of a hat. I was envious when Harv wore it. I'm so glad that now I can be envious when you do so.

Congratulations!

Don't let a few degrees keep you from felts, Matt. Time to drag out the light weights.

They're saying 80 today, so...

Sent directly from my mind to yours.

Marvelous Jim.

I need more lightweight felts so I can keep it going year round.
