I've see this hat in the shop. The dark part in Blue/Black and brown. Is this the black or the blue version?
I’ve never considered a two-toned “straw” ...
Very pretty color and ribbon Steve!"Pallas" probably mid to later 1950s. Not sure what company owned this mark. Could be a German hat factory but more likely a hat distributor / wholesaler.
I dig that green ribbon J!happy Monday

Love the color of that Marathon, and those shoes are the bomb! The rain just stopped so I went out and toweled off a chair for morning coffee. Accompanied by this Marathon

If the rain looks like it will hold off for awhile I think I'll ride the bike over to check on a big flush of golden oyster mushrooms I found yesterday. Hoping they will be ready to harvest today or tomorrow. Will be finding a cap for the ride.

Really like the ribbon on this one, can't see a bow. Is it more of a pug? Great Trimble Jeff.Trimble fifth avenue
A good rakish hat for my unkempt spring mug...

Interesting branding. Love the lines and color a whole bunch. I'm a sucker for a gray homburg."Pallas" probably mid to later 1950s. Not sure what company owned this mark. Could be a German hat factory but more likely a hat distributor / wholesaler.
Thanks Mike. I thrifted those shoes a while back and thought they might be a somewhat fun summer shoe.Love the color of that Marathon, and those shoes are the bomb!
