As far as getting it cleaned, you could check out the restoration services provided by Optimo, Falcon Park Hattery, John Penman... these are a few, and there are a good number more but I can't seem to think of them right this minute...

David your Optimo is fabulous. It's the first one I've seen with a higher crown and wide brim. Was that a custom order or one of their standard models? Great look with the black leather jacket-

Thanks guys, I wasn't the original owner of this Optimo, but it is a great quality hat and I really like it.

Javier, yes I have had some work done at Optimo. I recently bought a Borsalino hat from Aureliano and Optimo rebuilt it - clean and block, new sweatband, new liner and new ribbon. Optimo did a fantastic job, it's like having a brand new hat with with beautiful Borsalino velour felt. Optimo charged $120 (including shipping for the complete job.

Here's the hat on Veronica the Mannequin - it's my wife's hat now.
