Good morning from Minnesota. It is in the high 40's F and expected to be in the 60's F in the aft. I needed to pull a boat out of the water and get it ready for storage. Hard work done and now the clean-up. Out and about this morning wearing my Adam Executive in green. This is a big hat -big brim, big crown and big ribbon. BIG.

Off to a wedding Friday night with my Stetson Bantam... one of many nice hats I acquired from Zetwal.

Today's wind is too fierce for a trolley. I picked a Stetson 3X hat with a chinstrap.

Purplesage, I would say about 1950 - quite a nice lightweight and flexible felt. Here is another inside shot.

Alan; You are welcome. The side view should emphasize how I am making the hat work. Without a big boy rake the hat has kind of a top hat look when I wear it. Making the best of a BIG hat on a small head.

Thank you CC. In some light it looks pretty purple, other times almost black. One of my favorite felts, for sure.

WOW! That is a real beauty, David. Indeed, a stunner!! I'm not a fan of olive green on me, but that hat is something else on you. :thumb:
