Love that color Fred. Rules are meant to be broken. It's too nice a day today to not wear my new Dobbs Rosebud. Think anyone will notice (or care) it's straw?

Ciao Brent,

As there are myriads of opinions on straw hats and especially on those called "Panama" I tell you what I think of this supplier. For me it is very advisable for the excellent quality in straw weaving levels. The finishes are good and the prices very affordable compared to other sellers. The hats come from Ecuador and are a "direct sale" from the American "collector" who has an excellent relationship with its producers and finishers. Take a look and then see what you find that you like. Remember that splendid straw hats are found in Colombia and Peru.
The prices are lower and the provision a bit difficult, but it is worth looking for

Thanks Red. I think straw weather is supposed to really hit about Monday. But I couldn't resist it today. The tie is something called Jakarta Crepe. It's a pretty cool old one.Great to see Straw on you my friend. A little taste of things to come. Great tie!
Jared, Thank you!The hat is a stunner, but I especially appreciate your posts for little nuggets of information like this, Steve.
