WHAT IS THIS THING?

Does anyone know what this hat is? I have never seen a man's hat like it. The brim is so different. I will try to put in the website on ebay. If I fail, then the ebay number of the hat is 8164781826.

Well, let's see.
It has the bow of the ribbon on the left side of the hat which tells me it is a man's hat. That brim is a mess though. It should be much flatter.
Since it is wool that could explain a few things. The hat could have gotten wet and dried like that. There appear to be water stains around the crown.
In short, If it wasn't a pimp hat at the beginning, it sure is now. :kick:

My first thought was that it was actually a woman's hat and the seller was ignorant of the fact.

The seller claims it looks unworn, so I was not sure if those were stains I was seeing or if the hat was hairy or furry or whatever they call it.

A curious thing.

The hat is a plush (fuzzy) though and is very different. Where is a Mr. Charles when you need one?

I wonder if the brim snaps down; if so, I wonder what it snaps down to.

No one has bid on it. I saw it a couple of days ago.

PS Yes, the hat you displayed certain has been around the block. 1920's, I bet it is. Looks like some critter took a little bite out of the brim.

I imagine you could make the brim go down all the way around. It would then be more of a bucket fedora or you could use it as a trash can that way.
That top hat has seen better days that is for sure.
