Yes, I imagine how I’ve felt about cafe racers is similar to how some feel about cross-zips. I was afraid that I would look like a cosplay biker in a cafe racer. But that’s not how I feel at all wearing it. I never had that fear about the cross-zip, it’s not primarily associated with bikers for me, more with punks and metal heads tbh.
I'm 178cm and 75kg. Mine is size 38, comp weight, with brass hardware version. TBH, the hardware is a bit too bright to my taste, not sure how many years it would take to look vintage
It can get old. I’m not asking for sub-zero temps, but winter weather temps in the 40-50s would be cool. (I know you are chuckling at the thought that 50 degree temps are cold lol).
when you zip, is the left bottom hem slightly longer than the right side? My jacket has this little problem and I just noticed in your photo the left side is hanging lower, but can't tell if that's just the angle. On mine, it's like 1/3 to 1/2 inch longer on the left side. I've been trying to pull the other side down to stretch it out a little bit, but the leather keeps retracting back LOL. Like 60 year old leather won't give up.
I hadn’t even noticed that but I had a look again and you’re right. It’s more noticeable in the photo than IRL, mostly because I slightly lean to the left in the photo.
LOL, love the meme. Wondering if that's a design feature then for some odd reason. Or maybe how they all age over time. Who knows. Yeah, I tug on mine to even it out. Works for about 20 minutes. Trying to permanently apply pressure some how to stretch it, but this thing is beast. Keeps snapping back. It's only noticeable when it's zipped up, so was curious.
Monitor you need to get out more ( although I do appreciate it is winter outside at the moment for you !)
I'm out all the time, I just don't feel comfortable taking selfies in public. Nothing wrong with it, just not my thing. Can't even say why...
