It's been so dang cold lately ( cold for lower rural norcal ) that I haven't worn anything but the woolrich 503 unless I was just staying inside and wore the commando sweater.

Today it's warmed up enough for a change of pace so I took a hard 180 and went with the PW suede trucker.

I love the 503 and it quickly became my new favorite wool piece, but with February being the coldest month of the year I may not have too many days this month where I'll be wearing something else so I seized this opportunity.

I REALLY want one of these.
I don't think I've ever seen a cooler suede trucker than these, and there's not many jackets in general with as cool looking of a lining.
I hope you're able to find one some day.

I was extremely lucky to find mine within an hour of deciding I wanted one, that just never happens for me.
In other hobbies maybe, but not with jackets because of course whatever I find has to be in my size.

New to me, Walter Dyer. Heavy. Warm. Fits pretty well.
I managed to get the ****py chest pocket zipper tabs off and put on ring chains. I like the way those look much better. It was a fiddly little chore but worked out in the end. Cheers! View attachment 590168 View attachment 590169
Looks good. Congrats. WD jackets are quite heavy with all the leather lined pockets. Very easy and soft to wear too.

Thank you. It is a heavy jacket and the leather lined pockets were a surprise but in a good way. Pretty easy to wear for the weight.

Had an itch all day I needed to scratch,
My home made 9.2 lbs megazord leather jacket, includes a 3.8 lbs 2.5oz Board Racer shirt, topped with a 5.4 lbs 3.5oz Rainbow Country car coat, still a pound shy of 10 lbs though. . Needs a shearling vest to push it to the max!

That car coat really rocks. I must have missed previous posts about it. Cheers!
