The old Belstaffs were pure gold! Tempi passati... I still hold on to a "Panther" and a "Gangster", both in the same "Vintage Black" cowhide.
I absolutely love the Panther, I've contempted buying a goldtop patrol,,that's the closest I can get to old school belstaff quality. Do I need one, absolutely not,but still want one :)

Not a bad idea. Here are more. Figured it was Cal Leather, but wasn't sure with the half-sewn epaulets. And appears there was a vertical white tag removed from the liner pocket. Thanks in advance.

I don't know much about Cals, but I don't think it is a Block Bilt jacket.

I had a steerhide one by Block Bilt, photos here: https://www.thefedoralounge.com/threads/rare-block-bilt-1940s-chp-police-jacket.110722/

The teardrop Talon zip suggests 60s/70s, I think?

Been giving a lot of love to my Vanson’s but once upon a time I considered this Schott 118 my grail jacket. The (full Analine) naked cowhide is very hard to beat in my book.

I have teardrops on this one (the first owner said he bought it from 'Star') however I always assumed it was a bit later. I suppose Officers part exchanged their old outgrown or ridden jackets.

Working on some more appropriate photos. Can’t do tough vintage guy anymore. Morally flexible 70’s guy Might work though.

Need some plaid bell bottoms like the catalog pic and like I actually wore to high school in the 70’s. 60’s - 70’s were the best for rock n roll and muscle cars and this old dude got to live it.

That is a fine thing. I like their jackets and I really like their selection of hides. Mine all 'wear'/'hang' totally differently to my Aeros - not in a better or worse way, but the fits are different. My Klondike in black goatskin is really comfortable. The V2 in mahogany steer is also much lighter-feeling than its weight suggests. What hide is this?
I’ve tried Aero jackets, for some reason they don’t fit me as well as the SB. Plus, the gussets make it more wearable.
