If you search online you can find so many options for boots in Maryam, but I cannot really find jackets in their leather except for through Freenote Cloth. I'm not sure, but curious why that is.

Thanks!
No idea really, I've been thinking about that myself as it's a great leather( I would love to try out a jacket made from Mayram HH, but maybe someone with better leather-knowledge than me can tell us why it's rarely used for jackets haha) :)

The pants are from a Swedish(maybe Scandinavian?) brand called Lager157, super cheap(around 40 euros/dollares) but not the best quality(they look the part though!), you can find them here if you want to check them out :)

Cheers mate!

The summer weather came and went in a flash, but the good thing is I could rock the Field's all day today without burning up lol.

Beautiful jacket, and that's hilarious. Even though the weather isn't complying a little try on won't hurt. I was wondering if you could share the brand of denim. Looks quality, and the choice of stitching is interesting too.
Glad you asked about the denim :)). This is the infamous Lawless brand. Google it and you'll know why. Basically dude took all the Kickstarter money and delivered just a few hundred pairs, leaving most people high and dry. There are a few mint pairs showing up on ebay here and there at very reasonable prices. Almost all in size 30, lol. So I snap them up, because the sordid tale notwithstanding, the denim and the quality are very good, as are his patterns (for a slimmer guy).

Schott 121
My first real leather jacket that I continue to appreciate more and more. The sleeves are a little longer than I'd like, the body length too, but otherwise the fit is perfect. Most of all though, having now owned jackets in other, what would be considered maybe, more premium hides I can say the true star is Schott's naked cowhide. Ever so slightly a heavier weight, around 3.5 oz give or take, what once felt stiff out of the box honestly just feels like a heavy weight cloth at this point. It breaks in wonderfully and I think the grain will only continue to show through more and more.

Cheers you beautiful *******s!

Plenty of amazing details one could admire about the craftsmanship on this jacket, but to pick one that is a little understated I'll say the contrast stitching really gives this a really interesting quality. Especially with how it goes nicely in combination with the brass zip!

Beautiful jacket i have it brother the mechanic jacket in horse

Appreciate it man. Yea I've seen you post that jacket before, definitely it's a beauty. To illustrate how my "interest" in leather jackets has changed I remember thinking to myself when I first purchased my Schott 121 that "what's the point of having these two exact same jackets (in reference to the mechanical jacket you have) for sale? I like the pockets on the 121 better so I'll choose that one." Fast forward to when you posted your jacket and my immediate impulse was to go to the Schott website and then have to fight off the urge to purchase that jacket when I realized "it's made out of horsehide?" Funny how the more you know, the more details you understand that create just enough variety and unique characteristic to justify and make it easier to consider purchasing yet another jacket ha!

Just enough of a breeze for a light jacket out in London today, so I wore a basic chorecoat type jacket out when the wife and I took the dog to the vet for a shot. Bertie did well. He didn't much like a needle in his bum, but I can't say I enjoy mine either! The jacket is one I bought from TU Clothing some five or six years ago, around lockdown. Looks like a dark indigo denim, though it has some stretch in it. I'd prefer no stretch ideally, but it was cheap and available when I needed a cheap jacket back when, and it's worn surprisingly well. Doesn't look like it has stretch in it, which is a plus. It's kept it's colour well too, which is a bonus. I threw it on today over a pair of bib-overalls (Dickies) which it looks good with.

Looking forward to the Autumn and getting back in leather already, though I need to clear out and sell on quite a few of my jackets now before I can afford to replace them. My next couple of jackets will probably be cheap ones on my list (a Wested Raiders, a budget M422a that will be patched...).
