Looks like I can pick up this Thursday across the border in Niagara Falls USA (saves on custom fees- my Aero natural horsehide half belt cost $200 extra in fees because I had delivered to Canada). If it fits half as well as your last IH (Riffblaster General) I will be a happy camper.

    Ton,
I think it’s time to admit that you want back into the leather jacket club. Now you’re obsessing over textile jackets that are cut and made to look as if they were leather jackets.
I see this is a cry for help my friend, and I’m here to tell you you are welcome back anytime

Leather lined denim jacket or denim lined leather jacket?
    That's a dilemma

Make it reversible, button on the denim side with button holes on the wind flap, zipper on the leather side, so button holes is hidden as windflap when the leather side is out. Wait this idea sounds great.

I tried that one on in thicker denim some years ago at Self Edge NY. Fit perfectly, looked awesome, was soooo tempted, but I'd just bought a pair of heavyweight IH denim from them and also a Schott 141 recently that's similar design, so held off. I'm still considering pulling the trigger on that someday soon. Will be nice to see you guys wearing it and sharing pics here.

Vanson America hybrid - it has option to install armor pads inside, but no pads today.

To my eyes the stripes are just so perfect. Makes the leather pop even more.
Splendid arm creasing and fine looking leather!
Colors and texture are amazing together in this jacket. Good fit too.

Thank you for the kind words. Yes, the stripes do make the colors pop out even more - not just the stripe colors, but the deep black of the comp weight leather as well. Perhaps I could’ve done without the chest logo patch, oh well, no worries, this is my “statement” jacket, LOL! As always I remain a big fan of Vanson quality, and this jacket gives me nothing to complain about. Just a great sense of pride and joy when I wear it. Yes, it’s creasing nicely as well.

I have the indigo IH rider's jacket. It's a fantastic jacket, really well cut and put together like you'd expect from IH. It fits closer than my type 3 though--both are size 40. Did you go with the indigo or non-fade superblack?
