First day out with the new Thedi courtesy of Colin via the classifieds. Phenomenal jacket, essentially brand new. I was worried that the fit would be too small but it's probably my best fitting jacket. Can't wait to see this thing develop, the veg tan cognac buffalo is really something else. The construction is superlative, and it's easier to wear in warmer temps.

Cal LAPD. This thing is a tank. When I get my arms up on my 18" apes, this thing deflects rocks, bugs and one stupid-a$$ bird like nothing. Love it.

The new Vansons always shock me with the jump in back length from 40 to 42. Creates a problem for me as well. It's almost a 42 L instead of just a true 42 with more chest room. I have a very similar vintage CHP / Bandit in 42 with shorter back I'd consider selling. Silver hardware though. PM if interested

Thanks for the offer I will keep that in mind. Have an aero chips coming black n nickel. Pretty set on black n brass for this. I am waiting to hear back from vanson. I am hoping they can just make me one off their original chp pattern and not have to alter this chp2 pattern.
