Bought an 8x11" piece of leather on ebay for a few bucks. I am quite happy with how the pocket came out. The lack of inside pockets in some vintage jackets annoys me to no end, and I do not care about period correctness if I wear the jacket. Sorry about the rant, now on to some pics:

They did a great job. I’m the same as you, lack of inside pockets annoys me immensely.

Hercules- unusual hide for a Hercules. Not one I have handled or seen, either with a Herc or OG maker label. Not a west coast jacket. Maybe Fried-Osterman or Appalachian. Based on the hide, I want to add Blatt to the possibilities. The only time I have seen a similar hide and build is on a Blatt MC jacket.

BR Peacoat today. One of the miss steps I've made with my leather jackets has been not allowing room enough for layering, which I hope to correct by sizing up next purchase (whenever that is).
