Teardrop talons =70’s-80’s.

Thanks Ton and JMax.

Guy I got it from said he bought it for his job from Star Leather in '81.

A completely different (reminds me of riding elephants) hide) to the Stealth, it sort of doesn't feel '80s. It might be getting a bit of an Obenauf's tomorrow. (not sure how it will take it (It looks thirsty) tester first).

I always thought they were 60s. They're on my 60s Brooks cr.
I had them on a 60 gold label as I recall.
It feels 60's Marc, I wonder if Cal sold pre-loved CHPs to Patrolmen

Any tells I might find from the main zip?

That talon was used from the 60s on through the 80s/90s. Send pics of the stop. IMO the main way to start dating Cals is by the hide. So many were customized, based on a contract or so well-used that hardware was swapped but the hide was pretty much the hide.

I always think mid-later 60s into 80s with the teardrop pulls. None of this is an exact science. It’s a great effin’ jacket!!

My oldest sons wedding today. It was a 50's-mobster themed wedding. I said "I think I might have something that will work" :) The @regius square pocket, cap and a tie and I'm the talk of the party. I said "but I dress like this everyday" and my son said " yes, and you look like a mobster most days", smart ***!
A pic with my oldest granddaughter Brynly on a very awesome day:)

Breaking-in/Suntanning the new Y2 „Saddlehorse“ jacket after finally admitting to myself that one size up just doesn’t work for me. Expensive mistake!

This leather is incredible. Eats Conipel „unfinished“ for breakfast and even Y2s very nice Kakishibu is no match.
