90 earlier in the week, 57 today. My head feels like a rancid cantaloupe, with enough sinus pressure to equal a small atomic bomb. Cool enough for the H Bar C on the dogs poop trot. I love this thing. Can’t help but think a leather version would be incredibly cool.

Putting my new Aero HBD through its paces. I'll do a proper review when I've spent more time in it and seen the full break-in process, but honestly, it's already great.

Headwind Mfg Co A-1 Vest. This is the historic 1927 Gordon & Ferguson A-1 pattern. I believe it is perfectly suited to make a nice looking vintage vest. Genuine Horn main buttons, and vintage Casein inner buttons put an authentic and luxurious touch on this piece.

Thanks man, I'm really, really happy with it. I don't want to tempt fate by saying I'm done on the first go, but it kind of feels that way. I'm not sure I'd change a thing about it.
I read a lot of your posts while I was researching it, and your brown bootlegger(s?) basically sold me on this leather. I've received loads of compliments from friends and strangers already, and I put it down to the brown HH CXL (I know yours were steer but I think at some point you recommended the horse in brown to someone else). So a big thanks to you for documenting all that stuff, it really matters!

Yup, Iron Rangers. I think when it comes time to get another pair I'll probably get the Blacksmith, as I like the brass eyelets more. But the IRs are great.
