Thank you! I really like the buffalo, I think it strikes a fine balance between the hardness of horsehide and the pliability of something softer such as sheep leather. The smell is amazing and the grain too. I did ask for brown with red undertones, I think Theo nailed it. It looks darker in reality compared to the photo. The only negative would be that sometimes when bending the arms, it is a bit squeaky but nothing too much.

Haha, yes, that’s what it does.

Honestly, I wouldn’t have ordered just from the pictures on the website/Instagram. It was our dear friends on TFL who sold it to me too.

Anyway, glad I have it. It’s a stunner of a jacket and so very easy wearing.

Merry Xmas everyone!
Today it was time for a looong dog walk and I decided to dig out the French blanket vest by the Brut Archives that I bought during the pandemic but never really wore since I’m not the biggest fan of its curry yellowish bomber jacket collar. A bit of a strange combo together with a vintage RL denim A2 underneath but it somehow worked out fine and I have to admit that the vest is great with the teddy collar from the jacket. Time for me to rework the vest by adding a teddy collar!

This looks great! How on earth do you find so many amazing vintage wool short length full-zip jackets? I've been searching for ages. Most I find measure 28" or more in length. If I could find just one in size 42-ish, I'd be shocked.
