Contemplating whether I like the more relaxed fit that allows for a sweatshirt or if it is a size to big.

Hi Peter, it is a size 42 regular. 12 yo..

In the past I tried on a few different newer Eastman’s in 40. Those were always quite snug so I just gave this one a try.
Length and waist feel ok, but upper body is indeed quite roomy.
I’ll wear it a bit more to decide otherwise I put it up for sale again.

It was at least a 48.one of the nicest jackets I owned.sold it here on the forum, must have been ten years ago,it was immaculate, I think it went to reguis in new York..keep me in mind if you decide to move it on,,cheers Peter.

Thanks to Aero for making this slim jacket fit. As a tall guy I've always had to get oversized items to get the length and sleeves to "work". Great stitch job by Morgan Wilson. Badalassi squeak is real! It's music to me though.

My wife said something today I rarely hear. Usually if I ask her how I look she's snarky. "Like a **** who spends to much on clothes" or something along those lines. Today she said "I hate you" in a cute sort of way.
I hope these cuffs break in. I think they made up the length by just making the cuffs longer.

Indeed a nice jacket. I especially like the blue moleskin lining and drape of the leather. To bad your purchase did not work out.

Cuffs are standard length, sleeve length is never gained by simply making cuffs longer !!
The jacket will break in, the more your wear it the quicker it will break in, the cuffs will soften and you will feel more comfortable.

She does. And she has a few. All from goodwill by her choice. I got her a beautiful one when Wisons still was quality. She still has it and wow it's great. So soft.
