Your commitment to consistently wearing the maverick is definitely paying off, looks great here! Another great pattern by Vanson. I'm planning to have one made in a dark blue Maryam horsehide that I have a sample of below. Kind of hard to make out the color but wanted to go with something indigo to go with the trucker style.

I'm a huge fan of the St. Laurent Wyatt boot last. Was able to find a pair at a great discount price and then had my cobbler remove the harness for a cleaner western boot look.

Very nice. I've started wearing my new Aero Type 3 (chocolate suede) as it's getting into winter down here. I'll try and post a photo at some stage, but I can confirm it's a great jacket.

I forgot about the Aero type 3 which indeed is very nice!

I think a custom Maverick in dark blue would look amazing!
Those Wyatt boots look great. I love the last and the pattern, really refined.

This older Balmain jacket goes against the Fedora Lounge grain, no pun intended, but for me is where my appreciation for leather jackets started 5 years ago. It's 100% a fashion jacket, and yet makes me feel like a rockstar whenever I wear it. For sure the sleeves are too short, but otherwise I love the fit. Though the dark navy calf skin has developed nicely and wears comfortably after 15+ years, it's definitely lighter/thinner than I'd ever look for now. The reinforced piping/stitching panel over the shoulders is purely cosmetic as the last place you'd ever want to wear this jacket is on the bike or any rough wearing context, but I do love the detail. Personally I've never seen it anywhere else, and it certainly pays hommage to the aesthetic that you'd also find on skinny "biker" jeans thigh and knee panels. Can anyone point me to other jackets or makers that have used panels like what I've included in the last picture? I wonder if a custom maker like Johnson Leathers could replicate it in a lighter weight, say 2 oz, horsehide. In wearing and posting this jacket thought I'd share my "origin" story if you will. Any thoughts?

Cheers

Thanks man!

The boots are made by Celine. Like the pair I posted earlier today another design by Hedi Slimane. I love his stuff, but unfortunately like basically everything made by designers overpriced. Unfortunately I had to go through a designer brand period to learn I can get better quality for better value, but lesson learned ha! That being said for me it's the perfect western boot with such beautiful stitch detail like you'd see classically on a cowboy boot but with a slimmer shaft and side zip access for convenience. The suede is gloriously soft too!

Here's a close up of the black calf pair and you can really see the detail.

Great weekend to you too!

Very nice! I really appreciate seeing another cross-zip with a white shirt & tie!

My favorite look. But, no tie for me.
Thank you ;-)

Ties are a new thing for me, and I think that they suit cross-zip(s) very well.
That Looks great!
What Artist/maker/company did the hemming/tapering?
Thank you ;-) It's @Leilah Wilde 's / Rugged West's seamstress. Extremely Pleased with the result of her work.
