I actually have a Sentinel on order from Rugged West (in teacore black): eagerly awaiting it, as it will be my first leather jacket.

It's cordovan steerhide. I love it. I've quite a few jackets and it's definitely one of my favourites. Looking into the Olympia by Rugged West Co. I know Leilah fairly well, she's great at what she does. Hoping your jacket arrives soon.

So great to hear! The cordovan steerhide is amazingly beautiful--almost glowing. Part of what pushed me towards Rugged West was that, when I wrote a small inquiry (not expecting any reply), Leilah wrote back and we had a long conversation--to answer all of my newbie questions. She's terrific to work with!

Thank you. It’s a tank, with thick, spongy cow leather. Ideal for those dry but cold pre-spring days.

Vanta steer hide it feel light yet substantial at the same time somone had asked me about it not to long ago and my best explanation of the feel of it is that it reminds me a bit of Aeros Vic leather
