Yes, they have been around since 1927 and are still going. It's pretty incredible when you think about all the manufacturers that have come and gone during that time. Once again, the leather jacket community owes a huge debt to Jewish immigrants who came to the USA from Europe and brought their manufacturing skills. The Goldmans came from Poland or Russia, depending on the sources I found.

The founder, Sol Goldman, ran the company with his brother Sam, and they were eventually joined by Sol's son Myron , who died in 2021. Based on the obituary, Myron's son Bill is running things today.

I couldn't find much vintage advertising for the brand, but there's plenty of modern-day ads and articles from the last 20 years. All that said, I'd love to see more of their jackets from the 30's/40's/50's.

Below are a few articles I dug up from way back. It's interesting how jacket-making was seasonal back then.at least for these sheepskin coats.

I think he stopped following this thread (or visiting TFL) after the initial pushback.
His profile says he was last seen today.

It’s smart of him to not include the Fidelity suspicion. If I were him, I would have removed the horsehide tag and auction the jacket as truly unlabeled. Sometimes disclosing less info, as here, would yield a higher selling price.
