It looks like Ayn Rand's 'Atlas Shrugged' will finally make it to the big screen after all these years. With Angelina and Brad in the staring roles (?).

I've waited for this for decades, as have many other fans of Rand's writing. I'm not sure aBOUT Brad and Angelina though.

What's your take on this epic?

I cannot imagine Hollywood taking this on. I enjoyed the movie of "The Fountainhead" with Gary Cooper and Ray Collins.

"Atlas Shrugged" was assigned reading in an Econ 101 class I took at the University of Hawaii at Hilo in 1980. I swear I'm not kidding.

We have Atlas Shrugged home on the bookshelf. I admit to not having read it but cannot fathom another Mr & Mrs Smith pairing! Objectivism.. Brangelina style! :eusa_doh:
