Hello All,

I have recently acquired military items from the residence of Margarette Caldwell, who was a 1st Lieutenant in the 93rd Evacuation Hospital during 1943-1947. I have military items of hers that I am unsure as to what they are and am seeking advice and the knowledge of other people.

The items I have acquired are a service uniform top, two navy blue garrison caps with maroon piping dating 1941, a service cap that was made by Knox, factory navy blue socks that I think would have been issued to the nurses as a part of their uniform and they still have the tag stapled on them, a olive heavy cold weather button jacket, a heavy navy blue wool double breasted trench like coat with a belt, a navy blue dress with a short sleeve dress that would go underneath I think, plus I have a wool button down top that was made by Parker Wilder and I think it could possibly be a field jacket liner but I am uncertain as to if this is accurate or not. Any information would be greatly appreciated as I would really like to know for sure what all I have acquired.
