My memory may be playing tricks on me, which can happen as one gets older, I admit. But I swear back in the 1960's or thereabouts, fashion designer Nicole Miller produced a bow tie and ***merbund set which displayed items associated with the artist, Salvador Dalí.
I have been looking for such a set for a number of years. None on Etsy, none on eBay, and not even The Dalí Museum in St. Petersburg, Florida carries them.
Speaking of which, I was elevated to the rank of Knight Commander of the Order of Salvador at the museum yesterday. I would love to wear a tie and ***merbund with real Dalí images, rather than the abstract patterns I currently wear.
