Found this recently...light fabric, brown military buttons, very Jungle Jim, someone said it was 'tropical issue' but I've only ever seen jungle green stuff for Australian troops of that vintage...could it be US?

Not sure what you mean by cellular, but the weave seems more 'open' than a normal army shirt...and the label's faded beyond legibility
