The Zoot doesn't come up in the search engine, so, any of you guys wear one?
I'm the guy on the right.

Good point, I do go to lots of retro festivals where everybody likes to dress the part. The next one is in two weeks time:I'd like one, but I don't know when I'd wear it, so never gone there. One day...
Thanks for the welcome, Benny. Strange, I entered Zoot Suit into the search, how did I miss such a great thread? Thanks for the heads up. My Zoot was a bespoke commission by Rob Crosely, in London.Dig this thread GHT:

Where did you acquire your fine drape? It looks like a cool Harlem shape. Welcome to the Lounge!

I have a custom zoot suit. That's the pic in my avatar. here's a thread about it that I made on the Ask Andy forum, with more pics:

That comment on the Ask Andy Forum, exact opposite of my reaction, I loved all the interchangable accessories, but the contrasting white? Nooooooooooooo! So Peter Sellers.I like the contrast with the white accents best. The tie and hat ribbon really help to highlight the shoes.
