Good memory, dh. I drove by it this afternoon, but I'm just about bbq'd out! If you get to central Texas anytime in the future and it's not too far out of your way, try Fargo's in Bryan.

I'm glad to know it's still around. I lived about a block down the street in the early 90s. That was the best brisket I've ever had. Never been through Bryan, if I ever do I'll stop in.

Not too shabby of a start to the day, folks!

David, ohhh it is nice to see Courtney. What a sublime hat.
Richard, I love the weave on this James Dermot cap. looks super nice!
Charlie, great VS!
Sam, the Max particularly shines today, especially with that coat. Nice choice!

My hats over the last several days include my silver belly Tumwater. I can never settle on the brim on this one. Usually I kind of have it in this dipped scoop, almost westernized shape.

I took my Stetson wide brim 25 to Minneapolis with me last weekend. Special occasion, as my wife and I took our theatrically obsessed daughters to see The Phantom of the Opera (otherwise I definitely would have dropped you a line, Eric!).

They must have been in an uncommonly good mood, because all three of the ladies mentioned they liked my hat. I have NEVER received a comment of remote nicety about a hat from my wife before.

The ushers were intense about no photography in the Orpheum Theater, but I managed to sneak this one (and a few more of my wife and kids).

OK so here is a hat I just got off ebay it's a Bailey Safari made in italy and it says fur felt. Not sure about what fur it is but for 69.00 I think its a pretty good deal. I had to stretch it abit but it has a real soft smooth feel to it and is light weight. Sorry about the pic but its from my laptop

Still, a watershed moment, Jeff! Congrats, sir. As Eric (SBG) once stated, my wife continues her complacency about my hats. GOOD for YOU!!! Although I can understand why the great comments... it is a GREAT hat!

Love that hat, Alan. Indeed, we should all be bound for a crowning year of hats.

Is that the hat that had the green brim binding?

David JH, in response to your question about the Borsa bodies from Gary White, I wasn't aware the that (Borsalino) was the source of these bodies. I only knew that he was in possession of unused hat bodies with Cav. edges. I have bought two over time, the only ones he had in my size, and have been happy with the hats he made.

One and the same... still has the green ribbon but the shredded binding was removed by my patient and saintly better half.

Matt, the brim is five inches... Stetson Clear Nutria.
