This nice old (extremely) light weight Borsalino today.

A rainy morning, indeed. So, while Miles and I watch and wait for the new grass seed to sprout, I donned the Mallory. I believe this one was made at about the time of the Stetson acquisition, as the liner print seems to have been printed over the date indicating the era. My guess is that this liner had been printed just before the merge, so was put into use after an "update."

At a 7 3/4 size brain holder. I wish I could find vintage style such as this.

Don't I know, SurfG! I've been on the hunt for years, and have assembled a respectable collection of our size. I'm right between a 7-3/4 and 7-7/8. And to make things even more challenging for straws, I'm an XLO, or extra long oval. I'll keep you posted when I plan to make room. I am getting to that point.
