Hey all!
Sunny and breezy, just right for this semi-colado Panama.

Good evening. Crazy busy last week. Traveling, coaching and finally back home.

A vtg. Stetson panama was my choice this morning.

Early evening finds me donning a vtg. Stetson Casual (40-50's) felt in the 70'F breezy weather.

I did catch the hat show on this thread the past many days. Cheers folks! Truly a pleasure to see the magnificent hat parade.

Humbled to be able to participate, Eric -

Wow, thank you for all of the wonderful comments, everyone!! So glad you liked the Dobbs Nor'Wester!! :)

Great hat, liner and photography!

Thanks, Roger. I've always wanted to try a blurry pic with the focus on the hat.

Agree - that crease looks perfect for the hat as well.

The hat used have a diamond crown and standard dents. It was just okay, and as cool as it is, it didn't get a ton of head time. Just now and then. The center dent and side [cattleman?] dents suit it much better.

Can you bash one of my hats? ;)

LOL... Sure, next time I'm in town. ;)

What a beautiful liner, among other fine details.

It's practically art. It's been a long while since I've posted the liner, and I figured it was up your alley. Thanks, Alan!

That's a killer hat AnA! I love the logo on the liner. Never heard of that style before.

I did some light research, while Nor'Wester refers to some weather patterns, it's also a nickname for the North West Company, founded in the late 1787. They were originally involved with... wait for it... THE FUR TRADE!!! Coincidence? Maybe. The artwork in the liner might suggest otherwise. However, I think it would be very cool if this hat were a wink and a nod to the NWC fur trade days.

Im just knocked out by that one. My favorite I've seen you in.

That's awesome, Bob. Thank you so much!!

Thanks, Charlie!! :) And thanks for your recent pics; it was nice to see the lake again!
