Designing a new hat with Mike at Northwest Hats. Vintage hat body. Late 40's early 50's. Lightweight. 3 oz. Very soft and supple. A bit more "reddish brown" then picture shows.

Hey FedOregon! I think us Oregonians should all stop by Mikes and have a "laying on of hands" ceremony for Bob's hat. Bless this new creation with our fingerprints. I'll be heading down in the next couple of weeks for my new "Regents" hat and will fondle his hat lovingly.

Just got news from Colorado Mountain Hat Co. that the hat that they were reworking for me is done, and should be shipped on Monday. Sent me this pic, and now I can't wait!

Hey Moon! I just ran across an advert page on Ebay for this hat. The Dobbs University Styles ad was from the late 1930s. This verifies the Hanley Hall being a famous building on the Purdue campus. There is also one at Northern Arizona. With the ad being from before WWII I'm thinking they were commemorating Purdue. I stole the image off of the Ebay listing, I'm such a rebel!

I have a Dorer 100% beaver that I have had 10 years or more and it has been worn a lot. It still has a bunch of life left in it.
