Got my first Alessandria and love it. Early 90's and its great felt. Soft n supple.

I'd be glad to have it, period. I wouldn't give a hoot if it was 10 or 12 years younger rather then older. If its nice, its nice. Especially if you like it!

Well I guess that depends on who you ask. Some will give you an opinion based on personal experience, some will only parrot what they have read here. Others will only repeat what the big boys said on the playground. My first post was not to dog your hat, but to say I didn't agree with your dating. To answer your question, their quality was good for this era, but I prefer the older felt......and yes I own hats from all ages.

Looks super nice to me...even some of the real new ones are worth having! Not sure how old that one is, but it is not a new one for sure!
