Same old hoodie and henley. I like the proportions of this old Snowy River.

Have a great Monday Jim, that Mallory is just beautiful. Clean!

Super looking Pilgrim, is it 50s? Love the color. I need more gray hats...

That Navy is a winner Bob. Love it in the light.

Sweet deal. Nice color, classic lines from the early 1960s. Embrace the stingy, they have a lot of style left in them.

Love the rain shots, nothing like a quality hat doing it's job

Thanks, guys.

Mike, I think that it is late '50s (maybe early '60s). I found a Sears ad from '55 with a $4.95 price point. This one is $5.98. Also, the construction and felt quality makes me think it's closer to '60.

Another week, another WEDDING! Yup, down in Anthony's (@moontheloon) neck of the woods, sort of. This time a black tie affair, NO option! Fine, as long as one of my selection of tuxes fits (they shrink, and grow over time I have found...). My first, and favorite tuxedo has earned its keep, having been worn to several weddings, including my sister-in-law's colossal, three-ringed extravaganza 30 years ago. Where did I get this great garment? It was the very one my father wore to his indoctrination into the Masons in 1946. Yes, I have gotten Dad's father's money's worth out of this one!

Hat: 1952 Stetson St. Regis. Perfect!!

Oh, yes! They also had an attended coat/hat check room. The young gal was so completely clueless about what to do with a hat that when I suggested she slide the ticket behind the ribbon she misunderstood, and attempted to force the F-ing COAT HANGER into it. I saved it, and gently educated her for the next hat under her care.

You look great! I'm glad you saved the hat from the inept attendant and her weaponized coat hanger =)

They just don't make coat check gals like they used to.
