It just made me look and notice that it did not have even a stick magazine.....I thought that interesting. I suppose even those 20 rounds would be to heavy for that grip...;)

With the butt stock attached it weighs almost 11 lbs. When I became a PO, the department where I worked had two Naval Arms Thompson's, along with assorted magazines, original cases and such. Both were retired, with one even having a slightly bent barrel.

Several years later when the PD was looking to fund the newly formed Special Response Unit, the two were traded with a dealer and provided 5 H&K mp5 a2's, several AR's and assorted equipment. Many thousands of dollars.

Such a cool story!!!! We had several agencies around here....city and county with similar weapons at one time (including M-3's, the usual M2 Carbines and one department had two De Lisle Carbines in 45 acp and another two Reising M50 also in 45 acp). Most were simply destroyed :eek::(:(:(:( rather than come to the creative solution your department did.......
