I thought I'd put away the Barbizona for the winter, but here it is again.
Great day at the beach, but the sand is gone from West Lido, and the high tide comes up to the dune. Where people gonna sit in the summer?
The flap of the ribbon bow is unsecured in front. I think, along with the moth holes, it just gives the lid some character, a bit of "I don't give a damn."

Pulled this one out yesterday while shuffling thru boxes putting felts away. I’ve had this Stetson for almost 50 years now, bought it when I was still in high school. This sliver belly was my go to town Saturday night hat. Wore 7 1/8 as a teenager, as I grew ended up pulling the sweat out so it would fit. Few years ago had a new one put in.
Lonesome Dove inspired Gus crease in its later year.
Haven’t found a pic of me wearing it but here’s one of my younger sister and couple her friends who would occasionally “borrow” my hats to cruise town.

Brent, you need to get some new hats! Tired of seeing you in the same few all the time.
As a fact of the matter, as many hats that I’ve seen you post over these 4 years, or so, I’ve never seen you wear the same hat, that I remember. You may have, but either I don’t remember, or have been too overwhelmed to know better!

Good morning. Yesterday's walkabout found me sport'n a Dobb's Cross Country.
Morning coffee under the brim of a Gannon Playboy (bluemist felt).
This morning's soirée I wore a Stetson Vogue.
Outside picking up fallen limbs I was wearing a Adam Pacesetter in buckskin hued felt.
I needed to rake the beach and I changed to a Knox Westlite. I changed hats as the Adam's windcord I am not confident using by the water.
