I'm seeking help identifying the following hat from the movie The Gathering Storm (2002). I think it's a homburg but it looks like it has a narrower brim than a typical homburg.
Any idea where I could find one just like it (but in black)?

I'm curious: when worn, is the opera hat at all distinguishable from a regular topper? Is the outline of the metal coils at all visible underneath the satin silk?

I'm desperately looking for a top hat but they seem to be extremely rare in my size, 7 1/2. I was wondering if a professional hatter can expand a top hat as he can a fedora? The reason I ask is because I've seen several 7 1/4 toppers for sale and I wonder if, with a bit of a stretch...
