My favorite detective portrayed by the perfect Poirot. (He once portrayed Detective-Inspector Japp, too.) The producers had to have that boutonniere custom-made I believe because they couldn't find one, and Mr. Suchet was sure Poirot would wear one. He was no doubt right.

Whatever that is, it's probably very collectible. Like everything else from cast iron to tussy-mussies, there are many people who collect walking sticks. (If I were rich and famous, I'd collect them too)

I just checked that on line and don't see the Trilby you have. They do have a nice fairly stingy brim rabbit felt for 119 euros, which isn't bad, especially when they offer them in a wide variety of sized.

You're right. In the good old days even JC Penney (Towncraft)came in long oval, round, etc. Now even hats selling for over two hundred bucks only come in small medium and large. Unless your shoe size is D (medium) or the E series (wide), you're out of luck unless you're willing to pay through...
