Pretty funny, it has been almost a month since I got my pewter Second Class Iron Cross, and I got two more since then. These are more exact to the real iron crosses.
I have no idea what kind of metal they are made of though. Only time will tell if they can survive from wearing them.
I got...
It all depends how you look at it. If you account for women being second to men, and segregation in the 1900's. It would have been a great time to live in. People had more respect for other people. You wouldn't dare touch other people's stuff that didn't belong to you. And children respected...
Yeah, theres seems to be three different versions of the Maltese cross. Funny you mention Roy Orbison. His son dated the tattoo artist Kat Von D who also dated the motorcycle builder Jesse James. Both of those people have questionable Nazi views. lol.
Keeping accurate time on a automatic mechanical watch is not a big deal to me like most people. If you have a rotating diving bezel on your watch you can adjust it to the real time as your watch gains or loses time anyway. The only thing I worry about is water resistant.
You got five good years out of your Tag Heur homage. That is pretty good. No matter how cheap or expensive a watch is. You probably will eventually have to take it in to servicing where they change the rubber gaskets and pressure tested it again. A servicing for a real Rolex Submariner at a...
Seiko 5 or Seiko military watches are OK, but the crystal they use called hardlex can crack easy. I had one that did on me. The mechanical automatic movement however is pretty good though.
Nice watch. Has a Breitling watch look for much less money. I have a Citizen Eco-Drive watch. It is a basic military design with Arabic numbers and a 12 o'clock hour marker. I haven't worn it in about six months since I got my Invicta Pro Diver homage to a Rolex Submariner. Seiko outsourced...
Are you telling me my watch will break down more on a leather bund watch band? Some Rolex Submariner homages last for along while though, but most people don't use a leather bund watch band though. lol. Anyway, this is pretty close to what I have. But, instead of a one piece 10mm leather band...
I wear a Rolex Submariner homage on a nylon NATO watch band with a leather bund padded part of a leather bund watch band. One of my favorite watches. So tough and basic. The leather bund watch band is suppose to keep the watch off your wrist when the watch gets hot and cold, and when you get wet...
The westernized world barley won World War 2. It makes you think about how close your freedom can be taken away at any moment because off ubermensch human beings.
It all depends how you look at it I guess. You are right. The Nazis had different classes for their metals. I even think the 1813 version was used as a metal in World War 2 too. But, it can also mean the Prussian 1813 version when the Prussians fought the French and Napoleon too, and it was...
