Today I went to the 100 year celebration of Sombrereria Mil in Barcelona. Wonderful to see old hat shops surviving and thriving!

I always say that when we wear a hat we become a better version of ourselves, so the answer is YOU are delightful not your hat :-)

Waiting for the train to take me home... this necklace that my mother has bought me requires a "mint" version of this hat though.

Taking my mom out for a stroll in her wheelchair and wearing a cap she must have bought in the early seventies from a well known Barcelona fashion store called GALES ( 1943-1995). It's a wonderful pattern and I will try to make a copy. It seems to be reinforced with light buckram.

Thank you Bob... I'm sure there are weirdest places to take a hat selfie while keeping a straight face.
Yes, it's a challenge ;)

Toilet selfie today, just because I loved the bull's head toilet roll holder. I'm wearing my green foldable wide brimmed fabric hat.

A recent commission to go with a long black knit dress with thin blue lines. Hand dyed pinokpok (a finer type of sinamay) blocked over hand carved cork blocks mounted on double headband. Very hard work but I'm really pleased (as was the customer) with the result. Hope you like it!
Thank you Bob! I seem to have posted it in the wrong thread though!
Thanks Red! It's a fun hat, with a unfinished look that seems to me is more difficult to achieve than it looks. Your Cavanagh is quite a find, some TLC and you will be looking very dashing with it!
Out and about with a Fred Bare hat I bought in Paris in the 80's, it's black sisol with a ball fringe edge.
Elevator mirror shot.
Glad to see everyone is looking as smart as ever!
