The Linen Suit with the Bullet Hole...?

update Seller claims he could sell it in Asia and make a lot more money but wants to give it to Ebay buyers FIRST! Lapels are supposed to have what looks like leftover blood stains. By the way, hate the new Ebay look.

HORRIBLE photos of Golden Era stars

I met Rita Hayworth at a party once. She was in her early sixties and was still beautiful but what was captivating were her eyes. They were a warm brandy color with gold flecks in them. When you saw her eyes you knew why everyone fell in love with her. She was very sweet and polite.

    Dating: Do's and Dont's (1949)

A kind of funny and at the same time sad thread. From the vantage of age one can look back and realize how much time was wasted in all the worry of -how do I look, what do I say etc. I feel sorry for the current generation because there is so much pressure on them. They have so much exposure...

    Cool (But Sold) eBay Stuff

I can't believe I missed the 1939 Worlds Fair cufflink/belt buckle auction. I have been looking for them for the past year. Damn! I ended up last week on getting two glass WF buttons (identical to the Ebay items) and putting on cufflink backs. If I could figure out how to post photo from...

    Dressing a guy

tie him up Go on Ebay and do a search for vintage neckties. You can find really great 40s ties and he can wear it casually without having to do the whole suit thing. A tie is almost one of the first things you see on someone and it screams vintage.:)

Weight of the world on my shoulders

Try hunching and rolling your shoulders whenever you feel discomfort. Also, before you go to bed take an Aleve. Your sleep position has a lot to do with how your body feels. Hope you feel better soon.

    LA in the 1940's

Binkie - one of the biggest changes in the last fifty years has been the loss of space. Up until the 60s - Wilshire Blvd still had many empty lots. And little traffic. A drive from Hollywood to the beach along Santa Monica Blvd. took about 30+ minutes and you could find parking once you got...

    Cufflinks and Shirt Studs.

HELP Bought a pair of cufflinks off Ebay and they are exactly what I wanted - EXCEPT that the swivel backs are loose. I know I'm stuck but has anyone any suggestion on how they can be made 'tighter' so that they don't slip out of the shirt cuff? Any help would really be appreciated. Thanks...
