I at least hope that this movie will lead some new fans to seek out more classic versions of The Green Hornet. It would be nice for the younger audiences to know that The green Hornet was not always presented as a bumbling slacker idiot!

I honestly don't know how this movie got the Green light to be made at all. The whole justification from Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, who wrote this mess, is that "The Green Hornet is like really old and not that many people really remember him, so we can pretty much do what we want with it!"...

I thoroughly enjoyed the episodes that I gat to see yesterday. Brought back many great memories. I am so glad that SYFY channel hosted this marathon. Now if we could get them to run the Green Hornet serials one day! :)

Tomorrow, Jan 11th, the Syfy channel is running a marathon of The Green Hornet TV series, starring Van Williams and Bruce Lee. I hope that new and old fans alike will take this opportunity to catch this classic series. It will certainly be time better spent than watching the new Seth Rogen movie.

Actually, I just thought about Mathew Fox, who played Dr. Jack Shephard on tv's LOST! I think he could play the Role of the Lone Ranger. Or maybe Jon Hamm from Mad Men?
