Thanks everyone. I like them. Seems like I only wear monks in unusual configurations. I have this pair, then I also have a pair of brown suede AE Moras (wearing them right now as a matter of fact). Cookie, these are recent offerings. Bought them last year. Likely still part of the BB line.

Mi Esposa and another couple are planning a trip to LA in May. My wife's brother has a lounge act at the Cicada Restaurant in downtown LA on Thursday nights. We're coming in to see his show then generally cavort and look for trouble the rest of the weekend.

+1. One of my pet peeves when I go out is seeing couples dressed: She = Lovely dress & high heels. He = Untucked striped shirt, jeans and square toed shoes. However, I can't imagine wearing "matching" outfits. Just not for me. I'd be too afraid of a giant beer can falling on my head...

+1. Also avoid if you carry a magnetic money clip. Sometimes even your computer monitor can have a magnetic field that can magnetize the hairspring. Beyond gaining time it can simply lock up and not run at all (which is what mine did).

I suppose that the most important thing is that you are happy with the fit. However...:) one last thing and I'll shut up about it. Not sure where you've gotten the idea that well dressed guys from a certain era wore their clothes too baggy, but I'd suggest that you do a Google images search...
