If you take the plunge, you'll love this hat. I picked up the Silverbelly Premier Strat at J.J. Hat Center a few weeks ago and am impressed with the quality and feel of this hat. I have a vintage Open Road as well, great hat and it was much cheaper, however the premier is a fantastic hat that...
My 2 cents to go with the ample amounts of change already on this post. Just purchased a Silverbelly Strat and am impressed with the pounce and feel of this production hat. Not stiff at all, takes a good dry crease, and holds up to some other customs I have. My only gripe is the same I have...
Beautiful hat. Unfortunately the only dark, non black in 7 1/4 I have is a vintage Borsalino with a 2 inch brim (Moss green Chinchilla). If I could stretch out the brim I would as I'm surprised no one has taken you up on this great looking hat!
I've been waiting to see that foldable 47 in action, sounds like the perfect travel hat. Thanks to all who are making all these fine lids a reality and I'd love to see some pics from members who pick one up!
Those are some great looking hats sea bass and mrwilmoth, right hat right occasion. I drove to Eugene last weekend to place an order with Mike and he had some truly wonderful creations on hand. There were a couple ready to be mailed out that looked spectacular. Glad to see all these great pics!

Every year in Vermont felt like it was colder than the last, hated Jan-Feb where it never got above freezing for weeks and seldom above 15-20F. I loved the summers, but glad I moved before this upcoming winter (High of 12F yesterday, high of 10F today and it's only December...)
