I wish I had that problem. 
If this was a perfect world, I would have my hair cut like Johnny Depp had it in Public Enemies (2009).
Then, I could just take my hat off and run my hand through it front to back, and voila! haha

Popadours and fedoras don't go together well, you will lose some for the other. Your only hope is the crown is taller than your pomp, but you will have to reshape upon removing hat or sport a smaller pomp. That my take sporting a small pomp and wearing fedoras, as well as 8 panel caps. Good luck

PS Public Enemy is pretty good if you like 20-30s gangster flicks as well as the era, I like the clothes and the cars. Another good flick for clothes and accessories is Leatherheads(nice wardrobes and accessories-ok movie)
