Wow! Great pictures of the Montecristis.

I'm talking now with my wife and brother in law so that we can cut the readers here one last deal before the spring springs up. I'm a teacher and don't get to the shop as much as I'd like to. I love seeing the photos of the shops in the USA. We have about 3X3 meters full of blocks everywhere...and very traditional and primitive. We do block, but the blocking in the USA is better, no question. We try to have people see our blocking first...doesn't cost them anything extra on these one to one contacts (webpage orders are a different monkey) because the blockers can iron out anything we do in order to reblock and it won't damage the hat at all.

By this evening or tomorrow we'll have a price for hats in the neighborhood of the AndyKev and Zohar hats. I'll give ballparks for weaves, crowns, brims, etc., but each hat is unique and a larger crown or brim will pull the weaves per inch down a bit, or drive the price up.

We sat yesterday and laughed and laughed because my good buddy in New Mexico (read with extreme sarcasm), was up buying hats last week, didn't pay for a bundle at Franco's place so I snipped one up. $80.00 hat...beauty...calado, golfer's dream hat. What a markup.
