Gents,
I'm releasing my pair of LL Bean Katahdin Iron Works Boots (made by Chippewa for LL Bean). They are US size 14.
I wore them only a few times, and they are only for sale because they are just too big for me. There's no damage and essentially no wear. They've spent almost their...
For sale is one Adventurebilt Henry in 7 1/2
eBay Sale Listing
Adventurebilt Henry's go for $300 new. I am asking a lot less.
The pictures make it look a bit faded, but that's just a result of poor lighting. It is not faded and is still a wonderfully rich, dark brown.
Thanks!
BUMP!
Still offering $145 shipped! The same kind of wallet (in a different color, and already used) recently sold on the 'bay for $150 + shipping.
Don't miss out on this offer.
Over Christmas I received a brand new Saddleback Leather "Big Wallet" in a very attractive dark coffee brown.
Unfortunately, this wallet is a bit bigger than I like, so I'm putting it up for sale. Members of the Fedora Lounge get the first chance to buy.
I am asking $145 shipped. It...
If you are in the Kansas City or Dallas-Fort Worth area, you may be interested in knowing that the The Foundry Big and Tall Supply Company carries a few flat caps.
This application is for the same Optimo Hats. The address for the shop in the trademark claim matches that on the Optimo website.

Hats of the London costume company that supplied the production.

I was doing a little research on the Mallory hats trademark and found something surprising: Optimo tried to acquire the Mallory trademark in 2006. But a year later they abandoned the trademark application and the Mallory trademark is still dead.
Had anyone else heard about that?
Here are two photos of my great-great uncle. Probably taken in or around Atchison, Kansas. There's a good chance he's wearing a Stevens hat as the factory was just across the river and it was the hat of choice of my other relatives from Atchison.
Many members here have experienced problems in differentiating their hats from ones owned by others and some have even had their hats purloined by strangers.
With this problem in mind, I have created many different styles of fedora identification cards for sale in my Zazzle shop Fedora Cards...
There's another fellow in my dorm who wears a wider-brimmed fedora from Hatman Jack's. If it is representative of the fedoras for sale there, then it is not promising. But I suppose the best way to find out is to go there.
When you are in KC and hunt in antique shops for fedoras only an hour away from the original Stevens factory, it is a Stevens extravaganza. Many of my relatives lived just across the river from St. Joseph where Stevens made their hats, and it's no surprise they wore Stevens. But my grandfather...
Anyone know who made his hats? We know, for example, Bing Crosby patronized Dobbs. Do we know who Cooper preferred? Or does it look as if they're all custom made designs?
